These are really lovely birds that visit the Cotswolds in the winter.  It was great to stalk along the lane and get this shot over the hedge. Sometimes they seem to get down on mass and almost disappear from view.

With the weather so dark and rainy over recent weeks I am still spending some evenings going over previously un viewed images. I liked the framing in this one with the shadow and the bird offset.

These are great little predators that like to perch high up on trees and bushes watching out for any possible prey.
