January 2013 Slimbridge
A visit to Slimbridge on a sunny winter morning can be great and when the "Tack-piece" is flooded it can attract thousands of waders and wildfowl. There seems to be bitterns regularly wintering in the reed bed in front of the Zeiss Hide.
