March 2018 Great Crested Grebes in full displaying and breeding mode
I love Great Crested Grebes and to me they seem to know that they are handsome birds with their gorgeous head plumes. On our local lake they are displaying and calling to each other. It's a great way to spend an early morning watching this ritual.
To enable time for these rituals, they obviously have to feed well and efficiently
That was a great morning that I can recommend for anyone to enjoy the experience. Get out there!
